Selling to nonprofits.  Every commercial mail producer has a sales team, and all effective salespersons have to learn the needs of their accounts.  But not every account is the same, and nonprofits customers are particularly different.  This session will discuss how nonprofits differ from commercial businesses and how mail producers can adjust their sales approach to better align with what nonprofits need and expect.  Understanding how nonprofits use the mail, manage their budgets, and relate to donors will help mailing service providers win and retain the trust – and business – of nonprofit clients.
